I don't even know where to start...
Again I've let myself become remiss in my posting duties so I'm going to attempt a recap post here. :)
My job hunt continues and most of the interest has been from headhunters and placement agencies. Hopefully they'll relieve some of the work from me and find me a position that's worth interviewing for! I'm also planning to cold call the title companies within a 10 mile radius of the house (you'd be surprised at how many there are!). The cold calling thing may not end up working but you just never know and I figure it can't hurt to ask.
I got an email yesterday that a friend of mine who is a counselor is currently doing a class having to do with job direction, satisfaction, and career advancement so I'm in the process of finding out more about that. She's helped me quite a bit in the past so hopefully this time will not be different...
We did go to Rollins last Tuesday and he was *awesome*! B waited around outside the bus afterwards and got not only his ticket stub autographed but also his Black Flag tattoo. Here's the link to my fan boi's leg pix:

I continue to keep close tabs on the N'Awlins situation and am not very happy with what I'm seeing so far. B and I are taking a lot of time and weighing the options on our plans to live there...the jury's still out on it. It's really going to end up depending on what they do with the levees and how the town decides to reinvent itself. Wtf is Nagin doing with the casino thing??? And what's the deal with beating up retired school teachers??? Please don't screw up my city any worse than it already is!
I finally came to a conclusion about what I'm going to do for the Race for the Cure thing this Saturday. I'm going to donate to Brian's page (http://tinyurl.com/dgjtt) and then show up and walk with him without officially registering. Surely they won't turn me away for showing moral support. :)
I have a feeling that the rest of the year will fly by since there's Halloween, our anniversary, and then the regular holidays coming up. Our plans to get the official studio shots in our wedding outfits are coming along nicely and I'll definitely be sharing the pix once I get them.
Time to get in the shower and prepare for another glorious day at my craptastic job. At least the company is taking us to a 4-star tonight as a thank you, so B and I are going into gluttony mode to take them for all we can get. I'm already salivating like Pavlov's dog thinking about the slab of dead cow flesh that I'll be consuming. Mmmmmmm. :)
